Continuous Recording
Continuous Recording
Using continuous recording you can avoid missing important shooting opportunities. You need to activate the
continuous recording mode using the menu. Once continuous recording has started, the camcorder will keep
recording until you access the menu to stop recording. Additionally, when two SD cards are inserted in the
camcorder, activating the continuous recording mode will automatically activate also the double slot recording
function so you can have an additional copy of your continuous recording.
During continuous recording, you can press the START/STOP button to set in and out points* in the recording;
the portion of a clip between an in point and an out point will be defined as a "shot". In mode, you can
display a special index screen of shots (A 105) and play back and delete specific shots. The in and out point
information can also be read by compatible NLE software** and used for editing.
* In points and Out points are marks in the continuous recording clips that indicate the beginning and end point of important parts
in the recording.
**For details about compatible software, visit your local Canon Web site.
