IfyoudonotattachtheSpacerforBorderlessPrinting,thePlatenmaybesoiledfromborderlessprinting.
•Paperincompatiblewiththeprinter’sautocutfunctioncanbeprintedwithoutbordersontheleftand
rightsidesonly.
•Thesefeaturescannotbeusedincombinationwithborderlessprinting:specialpagelayouts,centering
originals,andprintingcutlinesonrolls.
•Youcannothavepagesrotated90degreestoconservepaperifyouhavesetupborderlessprintingat
actualsizeorincombinationwithresizingoriginalstomatchthepapersize.
•Whenborderlessprintingisused,theedgeofthepaperiscutduringprinting.Thus,inkdensitymaybe
unevenattheedges.Ifyourequirehigherimagequality,specifyNoinAutoCutintheprinterdriver.In
thiscase,thepapercanbeprintedwithoutbordersontheleftandrightsidesonly.Afterejectingand
cuttingtheprinteddocument,usescissorstocutawaythetopandbottomedges.
•Byfactorydefault,theinkdryingtimeisdisabledforallpaper.Whenyouareusingpaperthattakes
longerforinktoadhereforborderlessprintingandtheCutterUnittouchesprintingsurfacesthatarenot
dryyet,itmaydamagethepaperortheedgeofthedocumentthatiscut,dependingonfrequencyof
use.Inthiscase,followthesestepstochangetheinkdryingtime.
